J. DOUGLAS ''''DOUG'''' FOSTER concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, construction litigation, insurance litigation, insurance agency matters, personal injury and family law. He graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2002 and was admitted to the Mississippi bar that same year. Doug is admitted to practice in all federal and state courts in Mississippi as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Eastern District of Michigan. Doug managed first and third party litigation for large insurance companies as well as individual clients in both state and federal courts and was extensively involved with the defense of insurance companies following the devastation from Hurricane Katrina on the Mississippi gulf coast. Doug’s clients have included insurance companies, local businesses, chemical companies and individuals.Doug also tutors and teaches bar preparation courses for law school graduates preparing for the Mississippi bar exam and in his spare time enjoys reading and the outdoors. He is an avid runner but also enjoys biking, hunting, fishing and playing golf. Doug is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association and the Lafayette County Republican Executive Committee.
