E. NICOLE TRAIL concentrates her practice in the areas of labor law, civil litigation and appeals. She provides counseling and litigation services to employers, employees, and labor organizations in all aspects of labor law including unfair labor practices, employee benefits law and workers' compensation law. She works with a number of local construction trade unions and their employee health and pension plans. Her experience includes matters involving ERISA, the Taft-Hartley Act, the Internal Revenue Code and the Fair Labor Standards Act. She has litigation experience in all Tennessee courts, including the Tennessee Court of Appeals, the United States District Court, and the National Labor Relations Board. In addition to litigation, she has assisted unions with contract disputes, collective bargaining, and individual claims on behalf of union members. Her civil litigation practice focuses mainly on representation of all types of large and small businesses in contract disputes, collection matters, commercial lease disputes and evictions.Ms. Trail is a member of the Memphis and Tennessee Bar Associations. She was an Associate Member of the American Inns of Court from 1997-1999. In law school she was on the University of Memphis Law Review and chair of the National Conference of Law Reviews. She was on the University of Memphis' Moot Court Board and received the American Jurisprudence Award, Torts II.
