  Christopher S. Campbell

CHRISTOPHER S. CAMPBELL is a graduate of The High School (Central High-Memphis, 1990) and Ouachita Baptist University. While at Ouachita, he received his Bachelor's of Art and competed on a four year basketball scholarship. He received his J.D. at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville (1997). Mr. Campbell began his legal career working for the City Attorney's office in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He joined Harris Shelton in 1997 and primarily concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance, hospital and municipal defense. Mr. Campbell serves on the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House of Memphis and the Board of Directors for the National Bar Association (Ben F. Jones, Chapter). He also serves on the Fee Dispute Committee for the Memphis Bar Association.

When not honing his skills as a litigator, Mr. Campbell coaches his sons various athletic teams and he is an avid golfer. He also volunteers for various charitable organizations and gives inspiration speeches to economically disadvantaged youths.

In 2008, Mr. Campbell was recognized as a "Rising Star" in Mid-South Super Lawyers. In September of 2009, Mr. Campbell was appointed by Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey to serve on Tennessee's first Judicial Nominating Commission. Mr. Campbell serves on the Commission as one of seventeen commissioners. The Commission is assigned the task of assisting the Governor in selecting persons to fill judicial vacancies throughout the state of Tennessee.
